documentary about the National Library, designed by architect Jan Kaplicky (1937-2009) and has entered the consciousness nickname "The Octopus" recounts one of the most politico-social kauz recent years. It shows the vicissitudes of the absurd: the author's joy of winning the contest, despite the rejection response to President Vaclav Klaus, questioning the location of the project and obscure bureaucratic delays, the Kaplický sudden death and the subsequent cancellation of the planned construction. The dispute, which has been exacerbated by our professional and general public to engage a number of celebrities, including former President Vaclav Havel.
